Well here we are…the final stage of the Warbotron project…COMBINATION! Let’s just dive in!
For those just arriving to the site, first welcome! Second, as a recap I’ll index each of the individual figures.
So…now that you have caught up (and increased my post count yay!) Let us hit the meat of all this…I give you…WARBOTRON
This is truly an imposing robot! By using Fierce Attack’s trailer he becomes an amazing torso that hold together quite well. That has to be one of my favorite parts, that there are a ton of reinforcement points to keep him together. Together he will probably stay…my biggest issue is how strong the leg connections are! I really have no idea if I’ll be able to ever take him apart.
The face has a few liberties, but shows Bruiticus. This is NOT what I would want chasing after me…nope, nada…He looks beastly.
Now with all these tight joints, Warbotron can hold some AMAZING poses. With ankle tilts, waist and thigh swivels…the guy can nearly do yoga! I really was impressed just what this guy could pull off.
I love his hands. Nice and tight, with individual joints. He can reach menacingly out for some fleeing prey.
Now the hands hold the cannons quite well. They have holes to hold the weapons stable, but can hold a few other things properly. Well they hold the rifles lol. I got the X-ray set, and well…he could have been held better. Still two out of three weapons I can deal with that.
Finally…he is MOTHER LOVIN’ HUGE!! Let’s do a roll call here…in front FP Colossus…Combiner Wars Superion, Make Toys Quantron…and Warbotron towers over all! This guys is just a fantastic display piece! He DEMANDS attention!
So the final verdict…four fantastic third party figures, one average one…Together they form one of the most amazing plastic robots ever to come together…I can’t help but smile seeing this guy in my display room. I lucked out in getting him with the early bird pricings, so I saved a bit. Still for what this guy is going for, he is a SIZABLE investment. This not a set for the casual collector I have to say. This project didn’t come out perfect. From the figures having faults, to the super tight connectors…oh I have complaints. But the over all effect of the complete Warbotron…oh I have to give this guy an A-
