Greetings true believers! I totally blame this next review on THIS guy and this guy. Yes I’m late. Yes now they are on Guardians of the Galaxy, but I had to have him. Plus I totally swear my little girl tossed him in the basket when I wasn’t looking…and who am I to let her down? Plus I totally feel I should have done this review for the 4th of July…but hey enough with the justification, let’s talk plastic!
Not going to lie, this is one handsome figure. I usually am not fan of the US action figures. I mean compare Bandai of America figures vs Figuarts, or even Revotech vs just about anything…but Cap here is everything that is right about America…n figures.
The balance is there, the details are amazing. They really bring the suit to life. I really like the boots and the folds of fabric. The face sculpts, while aren’t the spitting image of Chris Evans, still have that heroic profile. Wait, did I say face sculpts?
Yup, we get both masked and unmasked heads. The swap is easy and no stress is induced when popping off the head.
Aside from the extra head Cap also has two sets of hands. The fists, a pointing figure, and this straight hand. It is perfect to say “dude, I’m Captain America, I got this”…
Though more appropriately for him to Salute his fellow officers. Of course we also have the shield, though it isn’t always the easiest to keep on his arm. Plus would be cool to strap to his back is some way.
Finally, articulation is a dream. He does just about everything I could want him to do. This is a near flawless figure actually.
The Infinity line has really impressed me with what I have seen. This is from a build a figure group, so he also came with a large leg. I may or may not continue this set though. Still I highly recommend any version of this figure to a Captain America fan hands down. This even has me tempted to get some of the Guardians of the Galaxy line. Hasbro, you got me good this time.
