We have the second of the first two “we swear not Stunticons” today, T-Bone! One could say he is a true Wildrider…ok…yeah…we know…anyway, on to the review!
Starting with car mode, we a gorgeous paint scheme of black grey and red. The shades (only one of grey…) give this car some dimension. He is the same size as Car Crash, and shares most of the same design. His differences though are pretty damn cool, a bit more spikey on the back half and the wheel hubcaps are just sweeet!
Robot mode is flawless. Again, same frame as Car Crash but with a new head and chest sculpt. I love love love the colors! Cosmetically the only thing I could want would be bolts on his head, but aside from that he is awesome! Also his hand cannon is redesigned, but still just as tight to put in the pegs.
Articulation is of course perfect. I don’t think on Crash’s review I mentioned that he also had wrist swivels, so that adds another level of dynamics to his poses. Also light enough for a Tamashii stage for those ever important action shots. I can totally say T-bone is a Well Done figure…ok…yeah…I’m sorry…little baby Slipstreamer kept me up last night…
Yeah this is a short review, but if you have Car Crash you have this guy as well. And if you didn’t get them together, go order him ASAP. While not Runabout and Runamuck, these guys are really like the Sideswipe and Sunstreaker of the Decepticons.
Aside from price, there is no reason they are not in your collection, and as the rest of the team comes out, will be be wanting them I assure.
