The G3 armor, the Japanese Police’s secret weapon in case the Unidentified Life Forms from Kuuga ever returned. There were a few versions of this guy released. The G4 armor from the Agito movie, G3-X and then the original. I have no idea why they released these guys backwards, but this is the core suit of armor. The Kamen Rider’s answer to Robocop, and I have to say, he does the badge proud.
Kamen Rider G3 was the man made super hero of the Agito story. Power armor, high tech weapons, and the core of course was the user. The Figuarts is a wonder representation of the armor. A brilliant metallic blue and silver with a bit of black, he looks like a Robocop. Nice bulky shoulder pads and heavy clunky boots, and of course the great die cast feet.
I love that his arms are asymmetrical. Just give that touch that his suit is man made. Also his badge is cast, not painted on. The armor has these awesome bold lines and circuitry as well. Even the collar has etchings! The only thing I am not a fan of is the antennae are so thin. I bet they snap off, and I don’t want to find out how easy they do.
The backs of his hands have that MMA blocky glove look. He is a power house just waiting to get into combat.
And for combat you need weapons! G3 has the Scorpion machine pistol with Salamander add on, essentially a grenade launcher. The Salamander has pump action like a shot gun which is pretty rocking. Of course he has the proper hands to both hold the gun and stabilize it.
He also has a grappling hook, which you just attach to his wrist plug. So take off the hand and wedge it in. This gives a very clean look I do have to say, and have been tempted to pose him on the shelf with it.
Finally there is the Destroyer, AKA the BFK in my book. This has it’s own gripping hand and is just a beautiful close combat weapon.
I had been really wanting this guy. He actually completes my base states for all the Agito Riders. If you want a really cool, heavily armed Figuart, he or his upgrades will satisfy your needs. Also, since he is a power armor suit, you really don’t need a stage for his poses. I highly recommend him in any of his incarnations. I will say though with the others you get some bigger guns…but I like the Big Freaking Knife myself.
